How to visit Ashram Sri Lanka
From Katunayake International Air Port or Colombo
By Bus, (Best way)
(Normal way) (MAP) | (Highway) (MAP)
Take the highway bus from Katunayake to Colombo fort or Matara(2-3 hrs.) and get down at Matara Main Bus stand. Form Matara take Bus to Middiniya, get down at fort of Katuwana or AGA office (same place) (80 minutes) and take a tuk-tuk to Ashram Sri Lanka 2.5km. (10 minutes)
Note – Try to take Matara to Middiniya Bus before 17:00PM. (5 o’clock evening) because of less buses in the evening.
From Tangalle (MAP)
From Tangalle Bus station take a bus to Middiniya(85 minutes) and from there Change to Matara or any bus going through Katuwana and, get down at in front of Katuwana or AGA office(same place)(20 minutes)
From Merissa or Galle (MAP)
Just come to Matara Bus station (20 minutes) Form Matara take Bus to Middiniya, get down at in front of fort Katuwana or AGA office (same place)(85 minutes) rupee and take a tuk-tuk to Ashram Sri Lanka. 2.5km (10 minutes)
From Ella (MAP)
Every day from Wellawaya bus station at 12.30 one bus going to Walasmulla, you take that bus get down at in front of fort Katuwana or AGA office (same place)(85 minutes) rupee and take a tuk-tuk to Ashram Sri Lanka. 2.5km (10minutes) if not from Ella just come to Wellawaya or Thanamalvila and take a bus to Abilipitiya after just take a bus to Middiniya(85 minutes) and from there Change to Matara or any bus going through Katuwana and, get down at in front of Katuwana or AGA office(same place)(20 minutes)
From Kandy (MAP)
By Train, (6 hrs )
From Colombo fort, railway station take the train to Matara(3 hrs/ fare –mention in the bottom), and just walk to Hakmana road and take a bus to Middiniya(85 minutes) and from there Change to Matara or any bus going though Katuwana and, get down at in front of Katuwana or AGA office(same place)(20 minutes)
